Heidi Allen MP
As 2015 comes to a close, I thought it would be useful to recap the interesting news stories from Conservative women throughout 2015 post election.

To no surprises, the winners are the new intake of 2015 elected female Conservative MP’s: Heidi Allen, her speech that rocked the green benches on Tax credit reforms, Lucy Allan, fought a tough seat in Telford Constituency and Victoria Borwick MP for Kensington, a longstanding Conservative political veteran in her own right as Deputy Mayor of London for the last three years. Andrea Jenkyns with a 422 majority, created one of the biggest political shocks of the general election.

Parveen Hassan & Esther McVey
The women who said goodbye to us must be commended. Former MP’s made a significant impact on the communities they served.

Esther Mcvey former MP and Cabinet minister fought a horrendous, and sexist campaign to oust her from the Wirral West constituency which ultimately succeeded. When political opponents focussed on her clothing style choices and imagery, this could be enough to deter women entering politics.
Mary Macleod

Mary Macleod former MP for Brentford and Isleworth also gave her dedication and commitment to her constituents and country. Her work dealing with women issues from female representation in Parliament, and as the Prime Minister's former Small Business Ambassador to London encouraged numerous small businesses, start ups and enterprises

A special mention for the ladies that leaflet, the conservative female activists all dedicate their time and commitment volunteering for the Conservative party for political change. I look forward to working with them in 2016.
