Conservative Women's Hub was proud to encourage and pledge its support to #SmallBizSatUK by sharing the Conservative Women MP's involvement and activity on the day via social media.  

There was also advice and guidance for aspirational women seeking to start up and become entrepreneurs. 

Nicky Morgan Minister for Women and Equalities shared some advice via twitter, ' We want every woman to have the opportunity to support and start their own business #She'sDigital #SmallBizSatUK."

The Conservative female MP's were extremely busy supporting local businesses and encouraging  communities to do the same. Pictured below is Penny Mordaunt MP supporting the campaign with FSB, (The Federation of Small Businesses), the UK's largest campaigning pressure group promoting and protecting the interests of self-employed and small business owners.

Conservative Women's Hub shared news stories of women involved with independent enterprises. The Small Business Saturday UK is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign, highlighting small business success and encourages customers to ‘shop local’ and support small businesses in their communities. The day itself is on the first Saturday in December each year. In 2015 Small Business Saturday took place on Saturday, December 5th 2015.
