On Saturday 5 December, to mark Small Business Saturday 2015, Nus Ghani MP visited some of the vibrant independent businesses in Uckfield and Forest Row. Her visit to Forest Row also coincided with the Forest Row Business Forum’s annual St Nicholas Day, a celebration of local businesses.

Nus said: “Local businesses are the lifeblood of any community, and it’s important that we recognise their contribution and also what small business owners put on the line when starting a new business or growing an existing one.

“I was delighted to visit so many independent businesses in Uckfield and Forest Row, and as always I was blown away by the variety and vibrancy at the Forest Row Christmas Market.

“I love shopping in Wealden’s small businesses and, as Christmas approaches, would urge anyone who can to buy local and support our local enterprises.”
